Then you will see the StrongVPN Client application window. Click ' Connect' button to connect the VPN. Please notice: If you are using macOS 10.12 (Sierra) and you see the PPTP connection selected in the ' VPN Server and Protocol' field, please click on this field and change the connection type to L2TP. This is needed because the PPTP connection support was removed by Apple in the macOS 10.12 and it will never connect unless changed. On the picture below everything is fine since the selected connection type is 'OpenVPN TCP'.
