Is Elf Mist Set Spray The Perfect Dupe For Mac
Hey, beauties! If you follow my blog often, you know I am a huge fan of.
Not only are their products insanely cheap, but the quality is AMAZING! Seriously, I have used the same for years and constantly get compliments. When I worked for an NFL cheerleading organization, our official makeup sponsor was MAC. I was given a pretty nice discount to purchase their products, so I definitely took advantage to try some of their more popular products. One product that topped my list was the. I had used the for years, so I decided it was time to splurge and test out the MAC product.
- Elf's Make-up Mist and Set is a great dupe for MAC Fix+ ELF Makeup Mist & Set costs 3$ and is a dupe of MAC Fix+ and Model In A Bottle Original Spray. Setting sprays are spritzed on your face lightly before or after makeup application.
- This is a great setting spray, when I'm done putting on my makeup, I use this spray and when I press the nossle the product sprays out in a perfect mist, it smells delightfull, and after spraying your finished look,it gives your face a blurred, lasting percecrion.
Shop the Post I was looking for a great spray that would set my makeup and make sure it stayed put through sweat and rain. Let me start off by saying theSpray is great! It certainly does the job and not only sets my loose powder, but it also keeps my makeup in place.

While both products have a pump, which is totally convenient, I found the tends to spray way too much product on my face. Sometimes it feels like my makeup is going to slide off my face until the spray drys. When comparing the pumps, definitely wins out.
NYX Professional Makeup Make Up Setting Spray Dewy Finish, 2.03 Fl Oz; ›; Customer reviews. The price is perfect (we got it for $5.99 as an add on item) and it was comparable. The Mac or Urban Decay sprays are much better of staying on throughout the day. I was using elf setting spray doesn't compare to this.
It sprays the perfect amount so my powder is set, yet my makeup hasn’t budged. I think that’s what we all want when looking for a makeup setting spray.
The staying power for both of these products is great as well. The kept my makeup perfect all day during my sister’s wedding through the tears and Florida humidity. Radiative modeling in rapid thermal processing for machines. The kept my makeup in place all day at a water park.
I use sunscreen when I go to water parks, but my face is so sensitive that wearing SPF Foundation gives my skin another layer of protection. I set my foundation with the and my foundation didn’t budge all day even though I was constantly underwater. Although I love both of these products, I think is the clear winner.
Plus, it is so much cheaper which makes it a perfect dupe for MAC. You can purchase the for $3 while is a splurge at $25. In my opinion, this is one of the few times where the drugstore product is superior to the more expensive product. If you’re looking for a great setting spray, I can’t recommend enough!
I was looking for a product to help my make last and I found it with this product. At first I thought because of my oily skin it would be a problem but, it worked out very well. I recommend you cover your eyes while spraying this. (In case you're not wearing a waterproof mascara) Wet an eyes shadow sponge with this and dab it on your under eye area instead of spraying your whole face at once. It's super good and affordable:) Also it doesn't have a bad smell either. If your looking for a great setting spray try this one you won't be disappointed.
So glad I took a chance and purchased this product. Ritually, I have only used the urban decay makeup spray for years. I’ve tried them all and used different versions based on the season ie summer/winter (matte vs dewy). I purchased the dewy and it’s prefect. I don’t look oily just fresh, healthy and normal skin.
I absolutely will purchase NYX dewy. It’s an excellent dupe for Urban Decay’s makeup spray. Awesome Price!! I can buy at least 4 of these in comparison to buying only 1 urban decay spray.
It’s a no brained. Absolutely no reason to spend more money for a product that does exactly the same thing.
I love this setting spray! I'll be honest, this is the only setting spray I've ever tried so I have nothing to compare it with other than makeup with or without it. It sets my mineral makeup, concealer and Mascara all day. I don't need to powder mid day or blot at all and my under eye concealer does not crease or fade, my makeup looks fresh all day.
Best part is that it completely removes the powdery look from up close or in daylight! It makes my skin looks dewy but not oily.
I lightly spray it on my face and use my beauty blender in a bouncing motion to pat it in my skin. I can't wear makeup without this now! This instantly hydrates my face and makes it look dewy and glowy rather than dry and cakey. I think it also helps my makeup last longer. My foundation and blush starts to rub off after about 5 or 6 hours. I have very dry skin and I start to look cakey no matter what I do, but this spray definitely extends the wear time of my makeup.
It lasted longer (closer to 8 hours) when I was using a higher coverage foundation, but I've just been using a light BB cream lately and this setting spray doesn't seem to have as much of an effect on it. This spray doesn't cause me to break out and it hasn't affected my skin negatively at all. I've been using this spray almost every day for around four and half months now and it's just getting close to running out now.
I use a lot though, probably 4 to 5 sprays at a time, so it could last you longer if you use less. I have also used Urban Decay's All Nighter setting spray and I honestly can't tell the difference between them. I would repurchase the NYX one just because it's so much cheaper for essentially the same product. Actually a pretty good setting spray for the cost. I very much enjoyed the dewy finish- after appying powder and looking too dry, this spray would bring my face 'back to life'. I live in a dry climate (Colorado) and it was great for that.
I used up the bottle and am investing in a more expensive setting spray now, but this one did the job pretty well. At the end of the day I'd have some minor caking but was much better than with no spray. It felt great and would never cause breakouts, which I am prone to. I would definitely recommend it for those looking for a drugstore setting spray.
